Today, let us start with very basic type of self employment for income generation. This is without investment but needs you to give time and physical efforts. It's very simple, basic type, without needing any special knowledge or skill.

Note that in this type, we are talking of only delivering products or services and not of buying-selling of products (trading) which we will cover in some other article.

Today, it has become necessary to get delivered, products and services from others, as people may not be able to go out due to various reasons like old age, disabilities or other reasons.

  The following are few examples of products and services that can be delivered, and there can be many more you know or can find out:

• Grocery
• Vegitables, fruits etc
• Medicine and health supplies
• Bank related services
• Insurance, Reservations, Documents handling
• Tiffin boxes or delivering other ready food products
• Post or courier related
• Patient care related
• Arranging vehicles
• Arranging electrical, plumbing or other technical service
• Helping other offices or businesses in your area

When you talk to people in your area, you can imaginatively derive a list of what all you can arrange to deliver by further talking to suppliers of those products and services. You will have a fair idea of demand and supply for the same. Start with your local area and then you can grow as you gain experience and contacts.

For this, start collecting information from vendors supplying products and services. On the other hand, create contacts with peoole needing these products and services. Families, Societies, Senior Citizen Groups, Social organizations are some sources for this. Inform them of service that you will be providing and charges for the same. Phone calls, whatsapp messages, meeting personally are few communication channels for the same. Make a list people desiring to get the service from you.

  You can do it alone, or 4-5 like minded friends, relatives, neighbours can come together and divide work as per work or geography. You csn take help from family for making/taking calls, collecting/storing information, making lists of products/customers etc. If you have two-wheeler, you can put it to the best use now.

You can charge some fee for per request basis or fixed monthly basis for certain defined delivery list. You can get work of this kind even from vendors, suppliers of products, services, for their customers.

Do not under estimate this business. Swiggy, Zomato, WeFast, UberEat are big names doing this. Why can't you do it in your local area?

Today, take a 200 page notebook. In that, note all ideas which will open up in further articles and your thoughts, ideas relatung to them. Also, write your questions, doubts or good contacts of people relating to those ideas. Because, if you don't write, all will vanish in thin air and you will forget. Talk to your family, friends, neighbours, businessmen, bankers about these topics. From such effort only, will evolve 4-5 good income ideas/sources.
